"Grow" is a modular furnishing system developed for Caimi Brevetti. The goal was to create a solution capable of bridging the domestic and professional spheres, tailored to the evolving lifestyles of young professionals living in compact city apartments and working in hybrid contexts, both at home and in shared office spaces.

CONCEPT AND OBJECTIVES

The concept envisions a system that evolves like a child growing with their environment, a structure that can expand and transform depending on the user's spatial needs and task complexity. This guided the project's development, highlighting the system’s capacity for scaling up or down in response to space availability, user habits, and working dynamics.

MODULARITY

Grow adapts seamlessly to various space constraints and user scenarios. It can be mounted directly to walls to minimize footprint, making it ideal for compact urban living. Whether accommodating one, two, four, or up to ten users, the system guarantees both flexibility and functionality. Integrated acoustic panels (Caimi Snowsound) ensure privacy even in high-density configurations, enabling a smooth transition between collaborative and individual work modes.

This element allows for the attachment of shelves, accessories, and electrical components. Three standardized extrusion lengths (75 cm, 150 cm, and 200 cm) enable multiple configuration possibilities. The extrusion also incorporates wiring for 4V power distribution, supplying each workstation with LED lighting and electrical sockets.
